UX writing and strategy
My primary focus has been making strategic changes to copy and content that will increase purchases on the ecommerce site. This can range from writing free trial copy, to restructuring an account nav bar, to updating tool tips that help complicated products seem more user friendly.
Zoom Webinar free trial
This is a great example of how marketing copy needs to be succinct and remain consistent across the campaign but still fit within each placement in the user journey. Additional use cases, such as when a user does not have billing permission to pay for the trial themselves, also needs to be considered when launching a successful trial campaign.
Account navigation side bar restructure
This is a proposal to update the side account navigation for Zoom users. With a growing list of products outside of Zoom Meetings, users were having a difficult time navigating what they did and did not have access to. I focused on content organization in order to add clarity and navigation ease.
tooltip copy
I frequently simplify live copy to help the user quickly understand new Zoom products and packages. Here’s an example for tooltips on the pricing page:
content analysis for ONBOARDING guide
This flow was for new Zoom users to help them get started on the home page. I created content pyramids to explain how the content is building off the previous screen. It’s an effective way to analyze how to clearly walk the user through each step, and why. For example, before jumping into Meetings, establishing what Zoom is can help ensure the user has no gaps in their onboarding experience.
