GENERATIVE AI INTEGRATION ON EXPEDIA + VRBO
I was the content design lead of an AI free text search feature to help answer property questions. This was the first AI feature used in the property shopping flow, when everything around AI felt new. It was crucial to adjust on the fly as we collected marketplace feedback, legal feedback, and testing of the tech.
As Dylan Field said, “AI will enable anyone to get a good first draft. But a good first draft is not a world-class product.”
